Qiancheng Liu joined Jeroen Tromp’s group as a postdoctoral research associate in September 2019. He received a Ph.D. in Solid Geophysics from Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include wave-equation based modeling and imaging, full waveform inversion, passive seismic, uncertainty quantification, and high-performance computing. He is currently working on the joint source and structure inversion in passive seismic, and uncertainty quantification in tomography across scales.
